The ERLC of the Southern Baptist Convention in it's magazine "Light" and on their web-site Ethics & Religious Liberty web site promotes Family Bookstores instead of the SBC owned Lifeway. Although in the magazine there are a few advertisements for Lifeway, almost every page has an ad for Family Bookstores. Did Lifeway buy Family Bookstores or is there an agreement unique to Family Bookstores and the ERLC? Just seems a bit odd is all?

I intentionally moved your topic to Baptist Denominations in hopes that it will get better response from people who would be "in the know" about SBC affairs.

The "For Faith & Family Bookstore" exists only online and is designed to focus on the issues of importance to the ERLC.

So this is not the Family Bookstore that is see around malls and such? Doesn't Lifeway have a pretty extensive web-site? Still, it just seems a bit odd.
