    It sounds like 'pie in the sky theology.'

    Actually, we are one with the Trinune God now if we have received Christ into our lives. [John 17:9-11; I Cor. 6:17; John 10:28; I John 5:13; I John 5:18]

    I Corinthians 6:17 tells us that Christians are united to the Lord in Heaven; we are already one Spirit with Him.

    This is the view of evangelical Protestantism and some non-Catholic denominations who do not like to call themselves Protestant.
