Lady Eagle, have you seen the nastiness and immaturity we see in this forum on a routine basis? These traits are specially visible in debates over KJVO, dispensationalism, and Calvinism vs Arminianism.

While I am new to the forum, it seems that in several cases, the administrators and moderators do not always follow through with the rules, and act unevenly.

Man, it's like a Pharisee convention around here today. Some of the most immature people I know of are 50 year olds who are trying to act younger. As for moderation, it is okay in moderation. But some boards go overboard with it. I would rather see what people really intended to say, not what was (edited). The only thing I think should be deleted is cussing. Oh, and maybe people who disagree with me.

Hey Diane, you made the pages of the FFF, and not in a good light I might add...

[snipped - linked to a site with vulgarity]

I saw the junk over there about Diane. How awful is that!!! How dare those potty mouths over there claim the name of our lovely Lord Jesus Christ and then exhibit that kind of behavior.

I know it's not all of the people but the one thing that sticks out the most is the vulgarity and it just makes me sick.

Au contraire. Such a breathtaking post implies far more about the one posting than the one being posted about. And I do believe he knows better.

Ooh, that place makes me feel warm and fuzzy. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I've found unmoderated forums will only work if there is an admin to segregate the trolls and if you are willing to put up with a certain amount of flaming. People are willing to say things online that they would not say in real life--I suppose because real life is moderated. I think Christian boards should be moderated because our standards theoretically should forbid flaming in the form of ad hominem attacks, especially those delivered as backstabbing gossip. . .

FF certainly sounds very un-Christ like. It is a wonder what Christians will say when they think they are anonomys. Good thing God sees what they are doing.

I felt defiled after a visit there. This is not the FFF in its old or new place, so I have deleted the link to the offensive thread above.

PM someone if you must have the link, please.

Doesn't it make you question their Christian experience with Christ?

Certainly it makes one wonder if they are truly born again and have been cleansed.

Visited the FFF long time ago. I have to agree with C4K and gb93433. It is a disgusting place that Christians would do well to depart from.

FFF is definetly a poor representation of fundametalists, Baptists, and Christianity in general. I have seen lost folks use better manners and decorum.

The FFF at one time wasn't the way it is now. It used to be a fairly civil place where one could carry on a decent dialogue.

As of late, it seems to be overrun with a bunch of contentious, foul-mouthed trolls. That's one of the problems with an unmoderated forum I guess.

And I apologise Adam for my sharp response - I was so appalled by what I saw there that I posted in haste.
