The Gideon's New Testament edition of the ESV

    No list that I know of, except that any *whole* verses omitted by the critical text are reinstated in the Gideon ESV (this does not include the Johannine Comma, which remains omitted).

    For the most part, however, the Gideon revision barely improved the overall critical text aspect of the ESV, and a lot more revision should have been insisted on by the Gideons. Otherwise, they should have stuck with the NKJV.

    Were they forced to change due to fees for using Nkjv to Nelson though?

    The Gideons made the switch back in 2013 after the NKJV publisher declined to renew its contract.
