The Great Commision ....Postmillenial ?

    Does the obeying of the teaching of Mt.28...demand a postmillenial view as Jesus has promised to be with us all the days?
    As Jesus is with us does it demand that the gospel is victorious here on this earth?

    I do not think it demands a postmillennial view. All forms of orthodox Christian eschatology believe the Spirit of God is at work in building the Kingdom.

    Postmillenial writers find verses that suggest the gospel being victorious in overcoming its enemies from sea to sea.
    What is the most optimistic Amillenial view that you have seen?
    I used to respond that the gospel itself is victorious even if a majority of persons do not become converted.
    In that case just the gospel being preached worldwide would harvest every believing person,would have to suffice.
    Is that the most optimistic view Amillenial teaching could have?
    The victory would only be in the Spiritual, internal work in people, but not quite enough to be victorious in a majority worldwide?

    Just the opposite!

    Paul states that believers are like sheep, killed all the day long.

    The killing has never stopped (the killing) from the time of Steven.

    The gospel is not “victorious on this earth” but in the individuals in whom God has chosen to redeem.

    Did not He state that broadway is highly populated in comparison to narrow way.

    When the King returns, bringing with Him the Kingdom, it begins the time when that last enemy is done away. What does 1 Corinthians 15 teach?

    27For “Godc has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. 28When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all.

    So, when exactly is that time “when all things are subjected to Him?”
    53For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

    “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
    55“O death, where is your victory?
    O death, where is your sting?”

    56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

    58Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

    Such comes upon all believers at the return of Christ beginning the Kingdom millennial reign.

    I don’t see anything coming close to an optimistic view in any presentation other than the premillennial return.

    Every other view really is deficient, defective, and unsupported by the ancients.

    I understand your position in part.
    How would you view the end of Psalm 22?

    27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

    28 For the kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the governor among the nations.

    29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

    30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

    31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
