Does the fossil record provide us with any indications that human life may have evolved from more primitive life forms?

    Not in the slightest.

Why do people keep saying that it does?

It’s a case of wishful thinking. Darwin knew that the fossil record didn’t provide the intermediate forms and so he had to make excuses as to why these links were missing. Evolutionists often talk about the discovery of “missing links”, but the so-called discoveries are very inconclusive. When I went to school I was taught that Ramapithecus was a missing link. However, scientists no longer believe that. Ramapithecus is now thought to be a variety of orangutan.

Neanderthals and Homo erectus seem to be just varieties of modern man because their genomes, structure, and technology are quite clearly in the range of modern man. Neanderthals could make cosmetics, which requires a certain chemical know-how. They made a kind of super-glue and Homo-erectus seems to have been able to make long sea voyages. So they were every bit as human as we are.

Where does this leave Christians who believe that evolution resolves the conflict between religion and science?

You lose your ability to understand where this death and suffering comes from. You lose the ability to understand Jesus as the Kinsman-redeemer, who is our blood relative because He comes from Adam and all the rest of us come from Adam. But if there’s no real Adam, then the Kinsman-redeemer concept gets thrown out the window as well. The authority of Scripture is undermined because there’s no real way you can develop evolutionary ideas from Scripture. This means that fallible evolutionary science becomes the underlying hermeneutic for Scripture. Is this something that evangelicals can afford to tolerate?

We easily forget the warning of people like the late leading biologist Jacques Monod. He said that evolution is the cruellest, most wasteful, and inefficient way that anyone could imagine of creating the world. I think Monod is right. Evolution leaves us with a supposed God of love who uses a cruel and wasteful process to eliminate the unfit. The gospel of God’s grace, however, is about the God of mercy who delights to save sinners.

There used to be a debate in scientific circles about whether mankind arose from one source or from multiple sources, i.e. if it can just happen, why not happen more than once?

However, the DNA that is passed women to women pretty much ended that debate as we all descended from one women which Time referred to as Eve.

    1) The fossil record demonstrates more than one kind of primate existed.

    2) Claims that the early primates did man-like things, i.e. bury their dead, seem to be a post Darwin mantra.

    3) Certainly survival odds are improved by fitness for the existing environment, but extinction level events make what was fit in the past environment, unfit for the present. A nuclear device will vaporize the strongest and smartest of us all, as well as the rest of us.

Yes, the "missing link" has never been found.

Real science actually refutes evolution, as complex life appeared suddenly and completely developed, this is called the Cambrian Explosion.

Of course, the Cambrian Explosion agrees perfectly with the Creation account in scripture.

I have long said that Darwin was one of the most evil men in history or at least his theory of evolution that has been embraced by the liberal scholars for over 150 years now including theologians. SO much of their agenda has for it's foundation the evolutionary theory that it has become accepted as fact in all of society and we don't hardly ever hear the words "Darwinian Theory" or "Evolutionary Theory" any more. If the left would ever agree that macro evolution is not true they would have to fall on their sword for most every doctrine they promote today. They will never do this, so instead they continue to prop up this evil theory with hoaxes and lies just like we have seen from the meteorological community do with Global Warming.

The thing to keep in mind is that new genetic information is never created. Not even at the micro level. I avoid the micro/macro dichotomy when speaking of evolution, because Darwinists don't really care which brand you accept. If in one's head "adaptation" occurs as the result of the generation of new genetic traits hitherto nonexistent, then they have you.

Agree with you on all of this, but would say greatest hoax was when satan told Adam/Eve that you "will become as God"

Some people will believe anything as long it means they do not have to accept God.
