    The fact is that there was more than one Bible around when Jesus lived. It was never an issue with Him.

    Have you read the Refuel and Revolve.. my son has Refuel, and I have read it.. and it is not as bad as the agenda driven av1611.org says...

    But this thread is on the Green Bible..
    Start another thread if you want to discuss Refuel and Revolve.

    BTW, the agenda of 1611.0rg is far worse than the green agenda.. .when you destroy people's trust in their bibles.. NIV, NLT, and so on by saying they are not the Word of God, you are ripping the word of God right out of people's lives...

    But this is my opinion..

    This thread is not about Refuel, Revolve, or 1611.org - lets get back to the topic.

    I've had several green Bibles for several years, namely a Dark "Office" Green, 1967 KJV Scofield,

    an old 'Olive Green' Living Bible,

    and a 'Harlequin' or 'Lime' Green 'New Berkeley' MLB. :thumbsup:

    The New Berkeley has the most distinct shade of green among them.

    It's somewhere among this shade of Green; the shade on this 'smilie' face ( :D ); the shade on this 'arrow' at the 'Title' of the Post and here ( [IMG] ); but with somewhat more of a yellowish cast than the shade of green, which one used to see for the cover of the 'slick' clothback NWTs the Jehovah's Witnesses used to carry for cheap sale, or giving away to their contacts.

    (Yeah, I've had one of those too, for many years, although I don't even remember how I came to acquire it, haven't had it in my hand for over a decade, doubt that I could find it very easily on a bet, and have absolutely zero intention of looking for it, at the moment.
    )

    I'm not yelling, above, I just made this very large so you can see it.

    I assume you meant the 'Bible' when you wrote "God's Word"*. This is a common misconception; actually the Scripture does not have that specific promise. And since we may not debate Psalm 12 again (but it is plainly "words" in that Psalm), perhaps you can show another passage that makes this explict claim (any credible doctrine is established in more than one verse). I would like to see your hard facts, not just your interpreted evidence. If you wish to respond to this challenge, please start a new topic.

    * "God's Word" in singular form: usually meant to represent His collective written revelation. However, you could define your term for us (since not all of God's communication with humans has been preserved in writing for us). "God's Word" does NOT occur in the KJV text at all (with or without capital 'W'); the closest phrase to that construction is one plural form: "He that is of God heareth "God's words" (John 8:47a, KJV).
