    Got any books on the subject of how to deal with church problems in the ministry ... or how to preach/minister/worship with a hostile church?

    Besides Scripture ;)

    Two books:

    Well-Intentioned Dragons by Marshall Shelley (Bethany House Publishers), 1994

    Firestorm: Preventing and Overcoming Church Conflicts by Ron Susek (Baker) 1999

    Both describe ways that leadership can headoff conflict or to deal with it when it occurs.

    Neither discusses exactly how to preach. I'd think that whatever brings the congregation closer to Christ would be the way to go.
