The "Lord's Prayer" in "The Message...

    One more thing... The Message is more commercialized than any translation I have ever seen. Even a cheap paperback copy of The Message runs $19.99 in most bookstores, hardbacks or leather bounds go as high as $80-100! And then there's the "side" merchandise. They have even gone so far as to break down the OT into "Histories", "Prophets", "Poetry" etc. and sell them as individual books for $10+ each! The Purpose Driven (fill in the blank) is a charity giveaway compared to The Message !!

    And of course, I agree it is a poor translation. When someone says The Living Bible is better than your translation, it's time to stop translating.
