Colossians 2:12-19 is about the Lord's Supper.

If you could read Afrikaans and read the Afrikaans version of Colossians 2 and compared it with the KJV, you would see for yourself what I mean.

The Afrikaans OMITS the phrase in the KJV, "Nourishment ministered". It IGNORES the Greek, 'epichorehgoumenon'.

You will recognise in this Greek word in verse 19, the 'gourmet' -'meal' - 'epi-chorehg-oumenon' : 'the meal being supplied'.

In verse 17 "Christ is the Substance" - 'to de sooma tou Xristou' - or: "the food (eaten) is of Christ's body".

SPIRITUAL "substance" and SPIRITUAL "meal ministered" is it, as undoubtedly "your EATING AND DRINKING" in verse 16, are SPIRITUAL, as by faith "eating and drinking": "of Christ the Substance" and "Nourishment administered" and eaten or drunk.

Now this is WHY it cannot be tolerated or allowed that Colossians 2 is understood in its plainness and straight-forwardness and why it MUST be corrupted into a condemnation of “Jewish feast days and sabbaths”, so that it WON’T speak of the Lord’s Supper! Because if it speaks about the Lord’s Supper, Colossians 2 will be the perfect example of Christians’ “Sabbaths’ feast of Christ” : “the Lord’s Supper”.

NOTHING WOULD REMAIN OF SUNDAY being ‘The Lord’s Day’ of ‘The Lord’s Supper’.
