Yes, the Lemba from Africa have been proven to have the Cohanim gene. Also, the Bene Israel from India carry the Cohen Modal Haplotype.

Also, for those who claim Ashkenazi Jews living in present day Israel are not really Jews, DNA testing has proven otherwise.

God finished with the Nation of Israel with the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. He demonstrated this fully with the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD, fulfilling the promise of Jesus Christ in the Olivet Discourse.

If you want to discuss the pros and cons of replacement theology, please take it to the appropriate forum. Thanks. LE

There are differences of opinion on that, and different outcomes of other DNA studies, especially from non-Jewish sources.

It is difficult to tell at what point the common ancestor entered the picture. I'd be interested to know the percentages of Askenazi who are tested who show a connection to Sephardi, as opposed to how many do not.

Thanks, Jack, for posting those links.

I picked up this from one of your links - there is a $99 special going on for anyone who wants to check their DNA ancestry - (not just Jewish, but for anyone), the cheapest out there, most tests I've seen cost a lot more...

I may do this, perhaps it can help aid the genealogy quest on one side of my family.
