According to my understanding the United Methodist organization has stated that they do NOT allow homosexuals to become ministers in their churches. But they allow homosexuals to become members of their churches and so participate in communion and receive baptism. I want to know if this new ruling is true? If it is how do you square this with the Bible that teaches homosexuality is a perversion and a sin?

Does your church have rules specifically disallowing adulterers, gluttons, gossips and slanderers to be members?

UMC : Delegates affirm stance against ordaining practicing homosexuals (May 4, 2004)

Same sex marriage? Now there's a joke
For God has written and He has spoke
Man shall not lie in another's bed
Nor let such things fill the head
For when you stand before God's throne
Your words are judged against His own
And because He says His words are true
Your sins will be the death of you
