IMHO the 'missing 240 years' are an
attempt by avid 6,000 man years followed
by 1,000 Savior years to FORCE THE square
PEG to fit a round HOLE :(

Another one that is really wierd.
There are predicitons of 1260 days
    which might be 1260 years.
If you take 1948 (year the nation Israel
was reborn) and subtract 1260 you get
the year 688AD. From about 678AD until 712AD
the Dome of the Rock (DoR) in Jerusalem was
being funded and built. They probably
dedicated the DoR to many benefactors
in multiple years during that time.
So, it isn't unreasonable to say:
"the DoR was dedicated in 688AD, 1260 years
before the refounding of Israel in 1948.

But nobody prior to 1948, actually predicted
the 688 date, the 1948 date. It really didn't
appear until like the late 1950s.
the whole computation was done BACKWARDS :(

    proving once again:
Figures don't lie - but liars figure :(

I believe "everything" that occurs has a significants, but there's no way a person can understand "Everything".

Actually, when the KJ translator distinguished between "HIS/HER" branches in the parable of the fig trees, they prophesied "WHEN" Israel would be restored as a nation, a question Jesus refused to answer for the disciples.

His branch, (Jesus) was the destruction of Israel,
Her branch is the restoration of Israel, and if her branch can't pass until all be fulfilled, then it must occur within a generation of the end of the six days declared from the beginning.

That rules out 240 years in the future.

Mt 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Mr 13:28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

And we have a "third witness".

Lu 21:29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; (both, his/her)
30 When they (plural) now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

There's several prophecies focusing on "this Generation", so if one fail, they all fail.

    Brother Bob:

What you are quoting here is from Revelation chapter 12, first of all the church is not the one that brought forth the man child.....the man child is Jesus Christ and the place where he was born was Israel....Israel is referred to manys times as a woman....if you will read this chapter with Israel in mind as the woman then this chapter will be read in a different light. Do you believe that the Church has replaced Israel?
