The Obama Debate Every American Should See

    Wednesday, October 08, 2008
    By Terence P. Jeffrey

The most telling debate Barack Obama ever had was not with John McCain but Patrick O’Malley, who served with Obama in the Illinois Senate and engaged Obama in a colloquy every American should read.

The Obama-O’Malley debate was a defining moment for Obama because it dealt with such a fundamental issue: The state’s duty to protect the civil rights of the young and disabled.

Some background: Eight years ago, nurse Jill Stanek went public about the “induced-labor abortions” performed at the Illinois hospital where she worked. Often done on Down syndrome babies, the procedure involved medicating the mother to cause premature labor.

Babies who survived this, Stanek testified in the U.S. Congress, were brought to a soiled linen room and left alone to die without care or comforting.

    From the article:

Obama, however, saw a problem with calling abortion survivors “persons.” “I mean, it—it would essentially bar abortions,” said Obama, “because the equal protection clause does not allow somebody to kill a child, and if this is a child, then this would be an antiabortion statute.”

For Obama, whether or not a temporarily-alive-outside-the-womb little girl is a “person” entitled to constitutional rights is not determined by her humanity, her age or even her place in space relative to her mother’s uterus. It is determined by a whether a doctor has been trying to kill her.

My statement: Barack Hussein Obama is a wicked man. I fear for our country. His election may be judgment from the Most High.

His election may be God's punishment on our country for the evil we have allowed here, and God's people approving it all along.
God said if My people who are called by My name,, obviously christians carry the heavest burden of blame for our country's moral situation, especially when so many christians support and approve evil, we all carry the weight. And as God has shown us in scripture, He uses leaders as His judgement.

By the way, obama said those babies hadn't been in the womb 9 months so they weren't persons, menaing even a premature baby isn't a person as they haven't been in the womb 9 months, so according to obama's reasoning, you can lay aside a preemie to die too.
I had never actually heard of forced labor abortion, this is sick.

All I can say is this: We better get off our blessed assurance and take people to vote on election day to try and prevent this evil man from being elected.

Change is NOT good if it involves what he wants to change. Pray for our country, if he gets elected, God will be taken out of everything.

So... where's the link? I'd much rather see the debate or a transcript
than read Mr. Terence P. Jeffrey's opinion on it.

Being in denial would actually be harder if you showed a little initiative.

    Here's a hint.

It's part of the Illinois congressional record and quotation marks indicate qotes by the individuals named.

    Or just face it.

You are supporting the devil's pawn.

Liberal "Christians" really don't want to talk about this much.

    Why am I not surprised?:(

One bump just for Christians that support a murderer.

    Yep, so are you.

And on the internet, I expect every article that informs me that every American should see something to include a link to it within the first paragraph. CNS pretending to be a source of news would actually be easier if they actually showed some initiative.

    I understand.

You, too, are in favor of letting a living child die as part of a woman's "right to choose".

Nope. But I project that'll happen less often than people dying out of McCain's desire to play commando-in-chief.

Reminds me of those who give a pass to Republicans who have been partners with the Democrats in keeping abortion going for decades.

Supporting the murder of babies with this tired refrain is pretty pathetic.

Your "projections" are based on your political preferences, ...

OTOH it is a fact, not a projection, that Obama endorses and supports the murder of babies. Apparently just as you do.

I'm not wanting to change the subject, but can someone please tell me why Partial birth abortions and this before mentioned abortion is Legal and Dr. Korvockin(sp) Assisted Suicide isn't? What's the difference? Choice is Choice Right?

One is just a person who has no voice on it's own.
