When liberals boast about a surplus under Bill Clinton they fail to mention that he had a Republican majority in both the house and Senate. It required him to work with them and he was able to get it done.

When they blame George Bush for the economy they fail to mention he had a Democratic majority in the House and Senate. They fail to mention in either case that the President cannot pass any agenda without the House and Senate agreeing before it gets to his desk.

Under Bush the Democrats said the D.C. Circuit court was under worked and did not need to fill the vacancies. Now that the court will not just rubber stamp his agenda he wants to try to tip the scales with extreme liberal judges and the other Democrats are pushing for it.

Under Bush it took on average 289 days to get his nominations through. Under Obama the average is 240 days. At this time under Bush he only had 5 nominees confirmed, Obama has had 99% confirmed and the Senate has confirmed more judges under Obama than there has been in 20 years.
