    Hi annsni

    You said......
First of all, making me happy is not the issue: You shouldn’t care what anybody thinks.

What I am asking everyone, is what “they think”: We have minds, and we have the free will to choose which Bible “we think is right”.

But almost all of the responses that I am getting, are people telling me that “no Bible is correct”. If you can’t pick “one” Bible to be correct, than you are saying that “none of them are correct”.
    --------------------------------------------------
As for the subject of “relativism”: This is exactly what I am fighting against.

i.e. “If most people think that no Bible is correct, than where is the Word of God, to spell out to us, what is right and wrong.”

Let me very direct with you: why do you have to fight?

Who here has said no Bible is correct? I haven't seen that. Maybe you're forcing people to take an A or B position when in fact we have C, D, E, F, G, etc available to us.

why do we have to fight about silly stuff like this?

    Hi dan e

    You said.......
It is not weird, to take a stand for God’s Word.

For hundreds of years, Christians have been dying, because they took this stand.

And there it is in a nutshell. Every english bible that has ever existed is a translation of the Greek and Hebrew.

Bolded and enlarged by me. (I'm not yelling, just making a point).

Your statement is very true. no one has said the Bible is not correct. in our brother's mind there, the only true Bible is the kjv Bible, and his dare is because he feels that deep in everybody's heart, they feel the kjv and only the kjv is THE Bible, and no one would really take a 'stand' on the Bible he/she is using.

now, to stillearning. as preachinjesus has said, this is such a silly subject.
if you want to really get into the "mix", and really sharpen your iron ?
    go start a Calvinism-Arminianism thread.

Stilllearning, who are we to tell God that He is only allowed to speak to us in Old English?

    Hi Linda64

    Nice to hear from you.

You are only the 3rd person, that has had the courage, to “take a stand” for God’s Word!

    See you later

That is very condescending and offensive to all of us that refuse to believe your KJVO myth...

The Bible exists in many translations...

I take a stand on God's word... no matter the translation!

What a way to come onto a board and make friends.

The masked KJVO begins to slowly unmask itself.

I think you are treading on scary grounds, as KJVO is borderline idolatry....depending on the person and reasoning.

    Hi gb93433

    Nice to hear from you.

    First you said.......
This is fine, but how do you know who God is, without having trust in a Bible that tells you about Him.
    --------------------------------------------------
Next, even though this post isn’t about the KJV, you brought it up, when you told your story, that demonstrated how badly, the KJV, effects people; I noticed you talked about “making disciples”.

The word disciple, Literally means, “Student”: (A student of Christ)
    -How do you “make students”?-

Hope to hear from you again.

Why do some KJV only folks insist on suggesting that unless one chooses one particular version of the Bible that he or she is failing to stand on the word of God?

Insults and other attacks are the very reason that I am no longer KJV only.

No one said that - please copy and paste a quote from one of us please?
    --------------------------------------------------
Well, since none of us feel that no Bible is correct, your reasoning is wrong.

(Sorry - meant to post it earlier but it got lost in a lightning storm. Just started the computer up again and it posted it)

By their fruits you shall know them.

This was one reason I left the KJVO ... uh..Camp.

Some KJVO people are the meanest, phariseeical Christians in the Kingdom today.

It is borderline Idolatry and insanity...

Why is it that Christians can get along on this board until a KJVO legalist comes along and stirs up strife?

Pitting Christians against each other all over translation issues...

SAd, very sad, that this type of blatent false teaching rears it's ugly head under the disguise of Christianity.

It is based in pride in being something that no one else is...

A better Christian because they carry a Bible with an earthly king's name on it...

WEll, I have news for all you KJVO extremists...

I serve KIng Jesus.. Not King James.

*note I do not lump all KJVOs into this mold, only the ones that judge other's spirituality because of the Bible version/translation they carry.

    Hi tinytim

Once again, this post has nothing to do with the KJV, but let me make one observation.

I have never heard anyone say such a stupid statement as....
“We won't support a missionary that doesn't use a KJV."

    But it doesn’t surprise me.
