    Hello.

I am a bit busy at the moment. Lectures start tomorrow and I have been doing a lot of reading. I think my schedule is going to be rather much more than before, but I will look in when I can.

It is lovely and cool here today. Much more comfortable and breathing is so much easier.

It is now that time of the year when we have a bit of a rush on to get the garden tidied before the October winds and rains.

Jim, how is the village house coming on?

    God Bless

    Sheila

    Hi all

It is much nicer here as well, very windy with rain expected today. Trust that your studies will go well for you Sheila.

We have been in pretty good form lately. Our Sundays are a blessing now since we have a few folks coming and the evening fellowship is very special.

Roger, does your evening service differ from the morning service? In one small church, I posed questions and allowed the group to answer according to their own understanding. Often a very enlightening time, and all seemed to enjoy it.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Our Sunday evening services are smaller than the mornings. We have several young families in our Sunday morning services. I havent counted recently but there used to be 30+ children leave for Sunday School. The evening services averages about 30 - 40. [IMG]

Roger, Thank you. My first lecture is this evening. How are your studies coming on?

Our evening service is very informal. Sitting down and discussing our studies. At the moment we a quick OY survery.

Still struggling along on the paper Sheils. Research is fine, it is just deciding how to approach it.

    Roger,

My first lecture is on methods of inquiry. [IMG] This is a compulsory module for this semester. I have enjoyed the books I have been reading so far. Maybe you should come over and sit in as there are only 2 of us and the lecturer. :D

Hmmm...I don't think I have ever been called Sheils before, (I've been called a lot of other things)or was that a typo? [IMG]

I just took a sip of tea that is a concoction of 1/3 green tea (for health purposes),2/3 orange pekot tea (so I don't taste the green tea), 10 packets of blue sweetner (fake sugar), and four soup spoons of non-dairy creamer.

Did I mention that this concoction resides in a 52 ounce mug entitled "Bubba Keg" ???

    Hello Dan

Good to have you posting in here. I have tried Green Tea and it was...well, quite disgusting. However, there are another 24 teabags in the pack... Maybe I will try adding a little honey to make hopefully it more palitable.

Autumn is here in England. We have quite heavy rain and high winds at the moment. A good excuse to curl up with a book.

Quiet in here today. I think both Roger and Jim are quite busy at the moment. I am sure they will look in when they can.

    Blessings

    Sheila

    Hi Sheila and Dan,

Yes, very busy to-day with both properties. The new tenant moved in to-day with the understanding that we still have some work to do. The new carpet was installed in rental house to-day, and we are finished preparing our country estate for backfilling. I hate waiting for others, but not much I can do about it unless I buy my own bulldozer................

    Cheers,

    Jim

Yes, this is called the Original Tea Room. Just a name for a chat zone for other denominations..including Baptists... I am not into cyber functions, so, serving things to contributors is not on my list. Some get into the cyber functions and that is ok for them.

All are welcome to join the fellowship here.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Sheila,

Sorry, I engage a bloke in the business to do that. In fear that I would tip it into the hole if I were driving. Daughter thinks it is bad enough that I drive my truck on the roads.

    Cheers,

    Jim
