We are off to Kingston to-day.

    Hi Jim,

We haven't had any snow so far this winter. It is still very mild for January here. I have plants in flower in my greenhouse. I don't care too much for snow. It looks quite pretty but I tend to hibernate when it snows. If it does snow it doesn't last too long here fortunatley.

    Blessings

    Hi Jim

We woke up to fog and frost this morning and it shows no sign of clearing yet. We can't complain tho' as it has been quite mild here this winter. I plan of sowing tomato seeds in the propogator today.

    Blessings

We have snow today. Not too much thank goodness. It was quite funny seeing Leo's reaction to it when he went into the garden this morning. He suddenly took fright in the middle of the lawn and came dashing back into the house.

Rob has decided to go with the referral for the radiosurgery option. If he goes down this route we think he will have more MRI scans and get to see a different consultant. We did ask for a second opinion but the powers that be are reluctant to do this. This way maybe we won't have to wait so long and Rob really does not want to have more surgery if it means that the paralysed side of his face slumps again with little chance of any recover like there was the last time.

We just don't understand how 2 consultants can look at the same scans and come up with such different measurements for the tumour and have such different opinions as to how it is treated.

We are so blessed that we know we are covered in prayer at this time.

    Blessings

I'm trying to get back in the habit of checking in at BB!

How can one of "her majesty's" loyal subjects - not drink "her majesty's" beverage?

Is it proper to capitalize the H in her and the M in majesty?

Dan, I have never liked tea. I am a confirmed coffee drinker.

Yes, if is correct to capitalize the H and the M.

It is bright and sunny here at the moment and lots to do today.

    Have a good day,

    Blessings

    Sheila

I've only had bits of coffee - tried black in 1974 - didn't like it - didn't finish it!

Tried with cream and sugar in 1974 - didn't like it - didn't finish it!

Drank a whole cup of flavored in 2006 (at my sister-in-law's) - didn't like it - finished it (to be polite) - have no intention of trying any again!

I make 52 ounces of a mixture of teas each day. Usually one bag of orange pekot - one bag of white - two bags of flavored green - and enjoy it.

Have tried herb teas (replacing one of the green teas) - but prefer just to have the tea.

I have 11 different colors of "bubba mugs" - which keep the tea warm for most of the day.

Haven't started drinking ice tea - but may try that some day.

Thank you for the info on "Her Majesty"

Good to see people dropping by every month or so.

I drink coffee most of the time. It is easier to get a cup of coffee in the shops than it is a cup of tea.

When I make my instant coffee at home, I put half a spoon of coffee in a cup and add hot water...the less coffee taste, the better. It if often quite cool when I take the last sip up to two hours later.

    Cheers,

    Jim

When I went on the last elimination diet for my migraines, I only drank water for 3 months. Then I added back in one cup of coffee a day -- now I'm up to several cups a day, but it's the only thing I drink besides water. I have to be finished by 9 a.m. It's plain and black. Can't be tea which has too many variants.

    DON'T TOUCH MY COFFEE!

IT better be good coffee too
It's the only thing I get to drink with any flavor :tongue3:
