I was thinking about purchasing this Bible, but I want to know if anyone has seen this or heard any reviews?

I have seen it and am considering possibly purchasing it when I can afford to.

What is RC Sproul's (editor) position regarding Preterism? Is his position reflected in the study notes?

I think he, like myself, is a partial preterist, and yes, I am quite sure his views are reflected in the notes.

Quite a few in my church have that bible and really like it very much! I'm just reluctant to purchase one more bible and as I do like my NKJV MacArthur Study Bible I guess I'll stick with it for now. however, I feel you cant go wrong with the one you plan to purchase! I know Sproul's commentary would be sound.

You can go to amazon.com and read customer reviews.

Yes he is partial preterist, and I am too. I've not run across much in the way of his promoting his eschatological view in the study notes however. Maybe they are there, i've just not noticed. I really like the ESV. You can check out Sproul's book "The end times according to Jesus" I think that is the name. Its a good read. MacArthur's study bible is a great one too....... love em both.
