    Minding our own business actually appeals to me, but reality smacks one in the head pretty fast if they look at history.

    An isolationist policy has been tried in the past. It didn't work very well than and it won't now.

    We can't disengage at this point in history, and may never be able to. To believe we can, illustrates a certain naiveity that is not desireable in a Presidential candidate. Especially when we face so many enemies dedicated, not just to our defeat, but our annihillation.

    The problem with Ron Paul is that he is a true Libertarian using the Republican Party label to reach more mainstream voters. His platform doesnt fit in. Its kind of like when a Communist tries to run using the Democrat label. Oh wait, that would be Dennis Kucinich.
