There are movements in Mennonite theology that ignore the focus on divine wrath. It is as if they pick and choose what part of Scripture to believe.

Denny Weaver is one of those who hold a "bloodless atonement".

The Bible is clear that in Christ we "escape the wrath to come". While the punishment was via "wicked men" it was also by the "predetermined plan of God".

Those who ignore this (who ignore select passages) are just as sinful - hold just as much a Satanic doctrine) and are just as much false teachers as those who would add to Scripture that God was punishing Jesus instead of us.

Satanic doctrine is always a little omission (like omitting wrath) or a little additions (like claiming God punished Jesus instead if us).

There is so much truth-Scripture on both sides people, particularly those who do not trust the sufficiency of Scripture, are misled and teach another gospel.

That is the problem with Satanic doctrine - it is always "mostly right", never outright heresy. Ultimately people are misled because they either disbelieve Scripture as a whole or believe it insufficient and in need of clarification via addition.
