I sure erred here as was pointed out.

At the moment of salvation, one's name is made indelible in the Lambs Book of Life, sorry for that error.
And the unsaved's name is erased at death.

It depends on what you mean by salvation. But based on what is being discussed I'll assume you mean when one has had hell eliminated as an option, and has heaven as their eternal destination.

That becomes a reality when someone is indwelt by the Holy Spirit and "sealed" for the "day of redemption".

That occurs when someone, having been convicted of their need, embraces Christ through faith alone.

    God bless,

    Mike

Well first of all Paul speaks of the PERSON as being asleep "those that have fallen asleep" calling those PEOPLE "The DEAD in Christ".

Christ said of the PERSON Lazarus "Lazarus SLEEPS"

I for one - believe it!

But as for the aspect of what HAPPENS to the soul/spirit AT the point of death - Solomon made it clear "The spirit of ALL mankind goes back to God who gave it" at death.

There is no "alive in death" -- just the state of death where "the PERSON" is said to be asleep.

"The spirit returns to God who gave it" according to Solomon.

    In Christ,

    Bob

That was a very good link!

A person "is a soul" -- very true.

But would you agree that they "have" a spirit?

    In Christ,
