    That is a question that deals with the autonomy of the local church. Each local church is different and many churches take different stands.

    A church that I used to be a member of would not accept any other church's baptism unless that church was a church of like faith and order. Even if the person had been scripturally baptized in a Brethren or CMA church or Pentecostal church their baptism would not be accepted because it was not Baptist. Some Baptist churches (not all) are like that. Again, Baptist churches are autonomous. One church cannot speak for all.
