the sin nature - let's get deeper with it

    I don't see my response as being hateful, but IMO your priorities are still reversed.

    The command to "love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength" comes first, after which one is to "love your neighbor as yourself." THe former requires one to embrace and delight in truth, and one of the greatest truths is the sovereignty of God. I am therefore offended when I see others elevate man above God, whether intentionally or unwittingly, and all the more so when Christians -- who are supposed to know better -- abuse scripture in order to elevate man above God.

    Brother you are leaving out the diety of Christ in this statement. Because of this diety He could not have possibly sinned.
