Mike Berzins: //I didn't listen to the sermon, but just out
of curiosity, what was wrong with the initial post?
I read it several times and it seemed truthful

I also am boycotting voice downloads,
I've lost three computers to the mal-ware

There is probably no problem with the

Looking at the profile of the person who started the

Looking up 'troll' in the URBAN DICTIONARY
(a place where anybody can define a term and
anybody can vote on which is the best defintion)
it says for the most popular definition:

Thank you for sticking your necks out, Rufus and Mike--at least I don't have to feel so weird now.

You people ought to be ashamed of youselves! I didn't listen to the sermon, but I read the post, and Sanderson was right on target. But, oh no, we can't agree with him, can we? After all, he said something that really, really offended us--or was it conviction???--a looooong time ago. Why don't you folks grow up, for the love of Pete? I'm sorry, but I get so sick and tired of hearing you guys go on and on and on about Sanderson because of a grudge you're still holding against him after, what? a couple months now? How mature is that?

Rbell, you called him in so many words a hypocrite, but weren't you being a little judgemental when you said that? Isn't that exactly what you think he is? Why would you want to be like your worst enemy? Hey--or is it that, deep down inside, you greatly admire his courage and stand and therefore want to act just like him? There's a limit to using the enemy's tactics, ya know.

Go listen to the rest of his sermons and read his ridiculous articles and you will agree with us...

This guy is a troll.. He only posts a sermon, and then tries to divert traffic to his website.

He has said that the KJV IS God.
He has said that gynecologists are all perverts.

    His doctrine is corrupt.

But if you want to be recognized around here for that type of theology, keep defending him.

    Tiny,

DodgeRamFanatic did not defend the man as much as he defended his original post. You sure seem to be anxious to discourage anyone from siding with anything of Sanderson's with the scary threat of sharing the man's every belief as a result of defending one post. If you have such a jones against this guy, won't you please take it to the moderators and have them address this? He is not a troll according to the Board definition of trolling. You, Ed, and donnA redefining the term is not going to make it so.

For you to prove your contention, please make an argument for how his post provoked large volumes of responses by posting absurdities or how he threw out deliberate insults.

Not only has he not fit the definition of trolling but within this thread, there is a large volume of unprovoked absurd insults that have been applied towards him, rather than came from him and perhaps the Troll hunt needs to be redirected.

If you can not make an argument for your contention that he is a troll, then I would encourage you to take a look at the rule about personal attacks on this board.

In my post in this thread, I told how I worked in a Day Care back in the 90's.

The Day Care I worked at was not like the one Sanderson mentioned in the OP... and I am sure that there are many others that are as loving and caring for the children in their charge as the one I was employed by.

That being said, Sanderson did in fact fit the board's definition of trolling. He was grouping all Day Care facilities into the picture of one that he saw. So yes, Sanderson was indeed

It was absurd of him to claim all Day Cares was like the one. and his OP was certainly an insult toward any Day Care such as the one I was employed by. Might I also add that it is an insult toward mothers who have no choice but to leave their children in Day Cares.

That's great! I'd venture to say that you don't see that in many places.

The problem is, Sanderson has a beef against anyone who does not measure up to his standard of living.

He indeed is provoking a lot of responses by his OP's, and I daresay that he may even be quilty of disobeying the Word of God by provoking some on the BB to anger.

One might argue that mothers being keepers at home is God's standard of living...

The op makes it a habit to post rediclous stuff, he rarely comes back to his posts, usually causes trouble, we are used to him and know what to expect. He has proven himself a troll on more then one occasion. If you go to his site he has posted almost all of that junk here, or how about listening to some of his sermons. Truely digusting, and I know becasue I am listening to a sermon right now. This man is sick. Did you know you can 'think' yourself happy? some of the launage he uses is sermons is awful, and over all, makes you want to cry.
    A true troll.

Or what about this one.... http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=38036 Which had to be closed because he lied, and C4K caught him in it...

or this one in which he claims Invitro Fertilization is a sin....
    http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?p=820734#post820734

Or his "sermon" on immigration... "What God says about immigration" even though God says nothing about it in His word http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=5214

And of course his most famous sermon, the sin of television in which he terrorizes a child in the end... http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?p=111861#post111861

    birth control causes abortion...
    http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=4934

Or male gynecologists are not for Christians..
    http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=13858

It is easy to see that he posts something that inflames the regular posters here, and then never comes back to discuss the issue...
This is a troll, as defined by this board.

But this will be my last word on this...
If the mods want to keep him around... he might learn something if he reads.

If you think I am wrong, you won't be the first.

I just think it is plain rude to post something controversial, link to your own website, and never come back... That is what I have a problem with.

One might also argue that mother's working might be bringing in the finances that keep the home is also God's standard of living.

Did not Naomi send Ruth to work in the fields?
Lydia was a merchant, a seller of purple
Priscilla was a tentmaker, thereby helping to bring in finances for the home.

I am sure there are more instances of women working in the Word of God.

But did these women drop off children with the ungodly to raise? Did they even HAVE children? We know that working in and of itself isn't wrong - the Proverbs 31 woman worked - but it sounds like work that she could have done from home - and she had servants. The children would have stayed in their own home.

Not all women who work need to. What bothers me is - where is their heart? Is it home with their children or with making more money - trying to keep up with the Joneses? Are they escaping the "boredom and monotony" of raising Godly children or are they truly needing to work to keep food on the table - and medical insurance (many women I know have to work just to have medical insurance).

Day care is not a sin. Working is not a sin. Having money and status as an idol is sin. Having yourself as an idol is sin. Are we feeding our own pride or a bare pantry? Also, are we being good stewards of what God has given to us? Are we watching our money or are we buying frivolous things? A woman I know struggles with money constantly - and is constantly bemoaning the fact that they're poor. They've also gone on 2 Disney cruises in the past year, spend $500 a month on cell phone bills between themselves and their 2 teens, each teen has 2 iPods, a computer in each of their rooms and TVs too. They have cable AND satellite TV. And they live in the basement of her parent's house. She's working now - why? To keep their kids in "toys". Not to have to put food on the table. THAT'S wrong, IMO.

    you got me.

I want to be like him.

I wish to scare children with my violent outbursts during "sermons," as I destroy things with a bat as I scream, er, preach...all the while scared children screaming in the background.

I wish to advocate the death penalty for all homosexuals and call them "fithy stinking animals...and I'll claim that they cannot be saved, to boot.

I wish to spam the BB with pharasaical rants that mean only to inflame.

I wish to state, verbatim, that "I have one God...the King James Bible."

Perhaps before you accuse me of wanting to be like this heretical troll, you should do a little homework. Know what he's like (you don't). Then know what I'm like (you don't).

After that, come back, and post something a bit less insulting.

Donna, I know there are always going to be hard to solve situations. But that doesn't mean it isn't God's will for women to be keepers at home and raise their children. I manage to support a family of 4 (soon to be 5) on a very modest single income. I do it because I believe it is what God would have me do. I also have the support of a church that teaches this and I know that someone would feed my family before they would tell my wife to get a job.

Are you offering to watch ALL the children whose mother or father must put them in day care in order to to put food in their mouth and a roof over their heads? I suppose an alternative would have been to abort them anf them the parent(s) wouldn't commit this "sin."

    Well, good for you.
But not everyone has it so good.
You'd rather send kids to bed hungry then a woman work to take care of her children.
Modest income, I know what far less then modest income is. The first 10 years we were married, my husbands income was less then $2,000. a year.
And you would tell a woman to live on that and let her children go hungry, you somehow think thats a good mother.
    there ain't no way.
