As for Baptists in England before John Smyth, just where is this overwhelming evidence? According to the American Baptist Churches USA website this is how the Baptists began. They state: "The earliest Baptist churches (1609-1612), although comprised of English- speaking congregants, flourished in Holland, where religious toleration was much greater than in England. Among their leaders were John Smyth, who led the first congregation of 36 men and women, and Thomas Helwys, who returned to England in 1612 to establish the first Baptist church in England".

Thus we see that nothing started in England until 1612, after Mr. Smyth and the first congregation in Holland and then Thomas Helwys in England. You don't seem to even know your past history, let alone ours.

This whole idea that Smyth started the first Baptist church is not true. I have seen even non baptist historians aknowledge that Baptist churches existed before the 1600 (Though they have not always carried the name "Baptist",but did have Baptist beliefs and doctrine). If I have time later I will give you more details.
