    Thanks, Curtis.

I got a chuckle out of your comparison of Crabby's credibility to the glaciers.

    Gold Dragon,

I'll respond in more depth later...but you are making an enormous jump in logic:

The key here is manmade global warm, er, climate change.

No one doubts the climate is a changing entity.

But the idea of man doing it has been pretty much shot to pieces.

Global temps have been essentially flat since 1998...not going up, and certainly not going up like the infamous "hockey stick" hoax. DATASOURCE Some studies actually show a slight decrease from 2003-2007, even though CO2 levels had increased. If our breathing and cow farts are cooking the planet, then the number should have gone up. MORE

Another funny thing...centuries ago, people grew crops on Greenland. Since that was before we were "destroying our planet," perhaps you'd like to explain that one to the class...The "medieval warm period" was at least as warm as recent years...

It's obvious. The lobal warm, er, climate change gestapo are guilty of...

    -bad science
    -faulty cause/effect recognition
    -fraud
-actively trying to silence critics (instead of discussion)
-theft--stealing from nations such as the US to give to poorer nations
-injustice--some of the biggest offenders are given a free ride (see the Kyoto train wreck for more)
-abject stupidity, for putting a moonbat such as Owl Gore as the face of your crisis.

The great tragedies we're facing are out-of-control agencies of the federal government such as the EPA, a Congress that can't wait to expand its power and tax the life out of commerce, and a population largely ignorant of science, history, or politics.

Perhaps if we send the gods in Washington some more money they can make the sun stop melting the ice caps?
