    One could, if there wasn't evidence of free will of the human spirit in the Bible. :thumbsup:

    Are there theologians who say human response to the gospel may be credited or reckoned by God as righteousness. Thus salvation is the sovereign act of God, but incorporates the human response or not, to the gospel of Christ.

    But those who worship the doctrines of men say no way, Romans 4:4-5 does not mean what it says. No scripture is safe from those who add to and otherwise alter the message:

    Jesus loves you, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. We love Him because He first loved us. God sets the choice of life or death before us and begs us to choose life.
