First I learned that God don't want Christians to tell others about Jesus.
Here is a Quote in the Missions forum:
    "When is missions unbiblical ?

    (1) if the purpose of establishing missions is to preach the gospel in order for lost souls to get eternally saved;"

Then, I learned that musical instruments are ungodly.

Then, I learned that only some Christians will be allowed to enter Christ's kingdom.

Amazing what a person learns on BB.

The sad thing is there are those here that will affirm these beliefs.

I am still studying the Kingdom Theology, just because I had never heard of it apart from what the JWs teach. But apparently, it has been around in Baptist circles for years.

Then of course hyper-calvinism fuels the claim that we don't need to tell others about Christ.

Then the remarks on Musical instruments comes from one that believes since the Bible (NT, The OT must be discarded, Oh, that is something else I learned) is silent on instruments it must be a sin...

Somethings people (some Baptists) believe really disturbs me.

Hypercalvinism, believeing there is no need to evangelize is a grave error. Christ Himself commanded us to go, preach, disciple, baptize!
The world is full of error. Knowing the Word well prevents our partaking of such!

Well, I learned the Two Witnesses of Revelation that preach and bring fire down from heaven are candlesticks and olive trees. I still haven't figured out how a candlestick or an olive tree can preach, but I know God caused a donkey to speak one time. And I still haven't figured out how a candlestick can be killed, even though I suppose I can figure out how to kill an olive tree. I am mulling over how the candlestick and olive tree will be brought back to life after 3-1/2 days, though. It's quite a puzzle.

I learned that if any scripture (regardless of context or what it says) that contradicts OSAS is not talking about eternal salvation.

oh wait! i did learn something strange this week!

    here goes:

i learned that one can be a christian (have faith and believe) and then go and live in the world - they are called Carnal Christians...

but wait! here's the catch... they're still saved...
    ---

one thing good i learned is that the wicked will have no part with God. nor on God's path. the narrow path.
    ---

hey. i know this is way off topic...

tinytim - what do you do if you come across a snake in a patch of banana's in a tree? you punch it in the face!!

    ok. im done. haha.

Jesus fulfilled the ceremonial laws. The moral laws are still intact and binding.

You missed the whole lesson, you use the candle to light the tree then the tree will burn but not be consumed... Simple enough unless it's a windy day.

another crazy thing i've learned is:

and eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
so when criticized in public - you fight back.

oh what will become of next week? i can't stand the suspense!

One thing I've learned is that if your belief differs from someone else, you are a heretic and it's unorthodox. Only their personal beliefs are not heretical and orthodox.

Oh, wait, I already knew that. I learned it long ago.

But do you know what a sackbut is. Hint: It is the precursor of my major instrument.
