    And the reason... because Jesus did!

    Does anyone else see this as strange, or am I the only Baptist here that has never heard this stuff?

    Today I learned that removing the word "baptist" from your name means you are a heretic, and teach heresy.

    Sadly, there are many who teach such heretical doctrines. To think that Christ would turn any who truly are saved into outer darkness is, I would say, on the verge of blasphemy.

    I am so glad that Christ is not a liar and that He said He will not cast those away who come to Him with a repentent heart and a contrite spirit. The Bible tells us the Lord loveth such as those.

    It is not love to cast them into outer darkness where there is weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. It is not love to cast them into that place where torment is eternal. Our Bible teaches us that that is judgment. Judgment reserved for the wicked and not for those in Christ.

    Christians will not be judged in such a manner.

    I learned John Calvin was raised a Catholic and baptized in the Catholics and always held to that baptism.

    well. this week i learned that one needs to take a bath to be saved.

    and that musical instruments must not be used for worship according to the NT.

    I have learned that not everyone likes Jack Hyles... imagine that... next thing you know, some will not like Rick Warren! lol
