At the third hour of the day, we recall the gift of the Spirt given to the Apostles at this hour, and we pray as with one soul that we may be worthy to receive from Him sanctification for guidance and instruction in what is beneficial for us; as it is written: Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.[Ps. 50:10.]
