This is my post # . . .

Everytime I come to this board I enjoy the postings for the most part and really learn something. I truly wish I could post more, but my life as of late has been busy with work, college, kids activities, church activities, etc.... And what is even worse is this Iraq and N. Korea thing is making me even more nervous as more and more of my co-workers are leaving for the buildup.

BTW, I did hit the 100 mark not too long ago. God Bless!

Don't think I'll ever catch that 7,000 mark though. He'll be at 20,000 by then.

I'm still saying that we shouldn't boast about the number of posts we contribute. I come to the Baptist Board to learn and share information with other Christians, not to accumulate the highest number of posts so I can gain the attention of others.

 

Sure, you're right. Sometimes I wish my number couln't be seen. I find it a little embarassing that my number is so high.

But nevertheless, I find that congratulating and encouraging others, for whatever reason has it's merit. We all need a pat on the back now and then.

 

I think some people are afraid to post and I admire those who do. I know I was on this board for months without posting very much.

Perhaps we should encourage people to post more. I am sure there are those that are just lurking that have some very good ideas to share with others. Wouldn't it be great if all the members would post? Of course, I have trouble reading everything now.

 

Boy I've been slacking! To think my Dad said I was vaccinated with a phonograph needle. (That used to mean that you talk to much.) I've read some really great postings, I've also read some postings that should have not been posted, maybe including some of mine. Well I guess I've rambled too much!
