This is NOT a gun free zone school

I remember the case. The school actually WAS a gun-free zone. That's why Myrick had to run to his truck, parked half a block off campus, to get his gun. If he could have had it in his office or on his person, the gunman would have been stopped sooner. It's not a coincidence that shooters almost always pick gun-free zones for their crimes, just as it's not a coincidence that right-to-carry states almost always see their crime rates decline after the law is passed.
