Carpro has been proven right. This lady, hockey player or not, is in the tank for Obama, and McCain nor Palin had any idea.

I hope Palin wipes the floor with both of them. The deciet & dishonesty from the left in this cycle is astonishing. And if the shoe was on the other foor, I'm sure the dems would be crying foul, and rightly so.

    Disgusting.

A debate “moderator” in the tank for Obama; Update: McCain campaign didn’t know about book

My first syndicated column of the week, filed this afternoon, shines light on PBS anchor Gwen Ifill, who will moderate Thursday’s only vice presidential debate. Try as she might to deflect questions about her impartiality, her biases — and her conflict of interest — are clear. But don’t you dare breathe a word about any of this. You know what will happen if you do…
    RACIST!
Sidenote: TVNewser reports that Ifill has broken her ankle, but she’s still going to do the debate. But will she disclose her conflict of interest? Inquiring minds want to know.
Ask the Commission on Presidential Debates if she will acknowledge her conflict of interest:
And here’s the e-mail address of Janet H. Brown, Executive Director of the Debates Commission: [email protected]
Hopefully, their email system works better than the House.
Tons of readers recommend that Sarah Palin open her debate remarks by congratulating Ifill on her book and asking her to tell everyone the title....

Yup. Me too. The House has shut down their e-mail, because they are sick of hearing from us.

Maybe they could forgo their 3% raise that Bush signed last nite, and get a new one.

    Great Idea!

An even better one would be to demand Ifill's replacement or attend only to announce why you won't take part. Then get up and leave.

Shows me the dems are so scared of losing, they have to do something like this.

    Down with rigging debates. Boo!

Sorry, still kinda upset at how Ron Paul was treated by the MSM and his "peers" during the debates.

Still don't understand why we can't phone in our own questions during these shows.

You might not ask questions that would help the moderator's guy.

I agree that this appears like she might be a bad choice for a moderator.

    Here are a few fyis:
    1) The title of the book was mentioned in July 23 by the Washington Times. The McCain campaign should have known about this.
    2) The book focuses on several black politicians and Barack Obama is one of them. Colin Powell is also one and the others are mostly democrats.
    3) McCain has stated that he thinks she will be objective. Yahoo
