    Right wing Republicans and some Libertarians like to say that "a rising tide raises all boats." Say Romney wins and the rising tide doubles all cash income. The median income of every quartile doubles due to increased economic activity. Exactly what else would change?

    Foreign exchange rate? What else?

    For one thing anyone currently holding a fixed monthly obligation like a mortgage or car payment will have more cash to pay it.
