Well, it looks as if the Thought Police have shut down yet another thread in which we were discussing something relative to the issue of bible translations, to wit, whether or not the KJV teaches what is commonly called "Calvinism" and whether or not the translators of the KJV were predominately what people usually refer to as Calvinists.

It looks as if the censors don't want us to point out these facts about the KJV. Yet another sad day on the Baptist Board.

It does make one wonder what the Moderator is so afraid of. Does the free exchange of information pose some sort of threat?

Skanwmatos, why don't you start a thread about the KJV and Calvinism?

That way, the moderators would have no reason to shut down the thread, and we could have the discussion.

On this same topic, I just found this in the closed thread.

Isn't that interesting? The thread was closed because I answered a question? Why is the Moderator so afraid of the free exchange of ideas, and why does the Moderator delete whole threads, delete specific answers to questions, and close threads without even the courtesy of a notification or explanation?

You called your topic "KJVO" and then started discussing Calvinism - take Stefan's suggestion Skan.

I will not allow debates questioning any poster's salvation - including your's Skan

I thought that was what we were discussing. I guess the subject is too frightening for the Moderator. :(

Your topic was simply called KJVO and continued a series of personal attacks which I closed.

Start your topic on "KJVO and Calvinism" and it will be free to run as long as it does not degenerate into personal attacks.

Label the new thread "KJV and Calvinism" or something to that effect.

Exactly - I would be interested to see how the KJV promotes Calvinism.

If you were really all that interested you would not have closed the thread in which we were discussing it.

I open them and you close them. What's the use?

Sounds like Skan is more interested in a fight than a discussion.

Your discussion did not fit the title of the thread - again, it is up to you.

What part of "KJVO" in the subject line and "Calvinism" in the body of the posts didn't you understand?

Well - you got me to do, there goes your personal attack again and here goes another thread to the "closed" catagory.

Open your new thread if you wish.
