The Dems used to use American Gothic to make fun of people who voted for Hoover. But Schumer and Pelosi actually fit better. They both look so unhappy. We are lucky to have escaped the riots so far that the French are having over this same issue of too much immigration and too many hostile immigrants.

True they have served their country faithfully for decades but its time now to go home and enjoy their whirlpool bathtubs.

That idea has been deflated. Here in the State of WA my children (when they were in high school) picked strawberries, etc in the field with mostly non Latino locals. Also when we lived in Maine there were virtually no Latino blueberry rakers.

There are quite a few Latino mushroom pickers here in WA. They are skilled at it and I often wonder the volume of psilocybe mushrooms which end up in their sacks. WA State is the World Capital of Magic Mushrooms (illegal) of every kind.

True there are many Latino workers here and yes I have hired them (with SS card) to do semi professional yard work.
Not because I couldn't find non Latino locals but because of the superior quality of work.

Here's a funny one. When we moved from Iowa to Pa, we had our stuff moved via ABF trucking in one of their pup trailers. When it got to our new house I went looking for a couple of Mexicans to hire to unload it. I went to all of their hangouts in town and no one wanted the job. As I was driving home I saw a Hispanic man crossing the street and said "Hey Compadre"! He said in perfect un-accented English: "What do you want?" It turns out the guy was from Texas, as American as you or I, and he readily agreed to do the job along with his brother who was also in Pa.
