I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been trying to take a long break. Someone hinted that I just want to throw out issues but was afraid or just didn’t want to address the repercussions and responses. Though I resent that implication I do not take offence. I trust that over the last year or so I have demonstrated that I’ve sought to engage most of the issues – I am not afraid of the issues.
If anybody is interested here are my true reasons:

    1. Just can’t devote the time needed to address all the issues I and others have raised

    2. I have a wife and 10 children (Psa 127:5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them:! Or crazy is the man....! ). I need to devote more time to them and not me – I’ve not been able to get a good balance here – I’ve been too selfish in all this – my bad.

    3. Finally, the first 2 are the most important and I’ve been abusing those and justifying it was ok to stay but God has now stepped in and is finally making me take a break – My right hand and forearm are now in a very confining brace because of an inflamed sheet tendon and this will not allow me to type with my right anymore without wreaking havoc. There is just no way I can carry on here or elsewhere with just my left hand. Not looking for sympathy, small setback, (God will provide) just trying to give an explanation so no one will think I’m trying to “cut and run”.

I had another thread prepared that I wrote out earlier but will not post due to it would be wrong to throw it out and not be able to explain or defend.

Enjoyed the chats but now I have now choice but to lay low or else. I am able to say “Hi” with my left hand but that is about it. This post took some time as it was.

Strange as it sounds I will miss you folks.

Wish you all God’s blessing. :wavey:

    Doesn't sound strange at all...
We are family... God's children, and this place is a great place.
I will miss reading your posts...

I hope you get better, and will be praying for you.

    10 children....WOW! What a man!!

I am going crazy with just 3 boys!

You need the rest! a long rest.

If you can, drop in everyonce in awhile and just say, "Hi"

    :wavey:

Edited to add, we would have loved to have a quiver full, but God didn't see fit to give us that many..
You must be a better man than me.

I also shall be praying for God to heal your arm, and whatever caused it to act up.

(lol) Anyone with 10 kids needs all the prayer he/she can get, anyway! !(lol)

Stop in when you can. May the Lord bless your desire to serve Him and your family.

BTW, I notice that your smiley is using its left hand ;).

Get well soon. 10 kids huh? You kind of took that "Be fruitful and multiply" stuff as a personal challenge, didn't you?

    AVbunyan: //I have a wife and 10 children ... //

    Nuff said.

My younger brother has 12 children, 9 are teens (2 are over 19).
I feel for you. You are still on my daily prayer list.
