How many of us have or at least know how to change a tire?

I have changed many tires. I refuse to pay someone else to do it!

I've never done anything car related except pump gas and add wiper fluid. I do know how to keep the inside clean and drive through the car wash.

I know how to change tires and and have done it many times. But, when changing to snow tires in the autumn I think it is well worth the cost to let a professional with tools and washing machine for the tires do it. It that way borth my hands and my tires are clean.

Know how (and have done) but don't. Use Fix a Flat to take to Goodyear or call AAA (no additional cost if you are a member).

Back in 1988, I bought a brand new Yugo (no jokes please) one day later I had a flat tire! I could not change the tire - seems as though there was no jack in the trunk! So I called AAA. Then I went back to the Yugo dealer and chewed them out. I did leave with a new jack. The salesman took it out of another new Yugo.

But normally, I do change my own tires.

Ok, 1 joke Did you know that Yugo is comming out with a station wagon - it will be called a We-go!

    ha!

OK, I'll amend my response. I can change a tire if the car is properly equipped.

Salty! I bet you were mad as a wet hornet!

Sorry to post in your forum but this reminded me so much of my wife minus the wiper fluid. She once got the car stuck in the car wash and I had to go and drive it out (she had the wheels turned). Since then her car get's washed every saturday, by me...

He made the day but He didn't leave the jack out of your car! I'd still get mad just thinking about it!

Oh goodie, I'm not the only woman like this. Although, she might have done it on purpose so that you have to do it now. My husband messed up a load of laundry when we were newlyweds so I've never asked him to help wash clothes again!
