Jesus was the last sacrifice, that practice is not in effect. AGAIN notice what I say SOME of the practices are still in effect. The sacrificing of animals is not a practice we are to partake of under the commandments. The NT was an upgrade of the Old Testament. The NT made the practices of sacrificing animals a practice we do not do anymore. However, practices such as tithing, moral values, and the Ten commandments are practices we should still obey.

How do I get the 10%? Tithe comes from a greek word which means "to give a tenth". Also if you look into the book of Leviticus you will find where God mentions giving 10% or a tenth. I agree with you when you mentioned giving the extra for being converted into cash.

Now are you going to answer my questions from before:

    1) If we are not to follow SOME of the practices from the OT, then why did God include the OT in our bibles?

2)If you do not believe some of the OT still applies, then how do you explain 2 Timothy 3:16?

3)How come there are numerous occassions in the bible Jesus himself quotes from the OT?

And so you do teach that(added fifth)? what about the other tithes? and are you sending it to the temple. The tithe was for the Levitical support. we are given no instruction on how the Synygog was supported. which would be the christian faith parallel not the temple.

You see you will not answer my questions.

I have already told you a thousand times SOME OF THE practices we follow, some of them were upgraded by the New Testament.

Does something still have to be "ineffect" for it to be useful? The psots are coming up slow. Your questions were not there when I made my last 2 posts

    Look Buckster,

Lets agree to disagree. We are getting no where.

You believe I am wrong, and I firmly believe you are wrong.

Lets pray for each other and be done.

ok. One last thing Rom 7:6

I don't firmly believe you are wrong. I know you are one of the legalistic Circum. group Paul warned us about. Just like Paul had to get in Pete's face on occation about legalism.

But I don't think it is all your fault. It was probably taught to you that way.

  17. BOTTOM LINE IS faithtrustbelief
ISN'T ABLE TO SHOW US ANY SCRIPTURE IN THE NT THATS SAYS WE MUST TITHE !!!

Come on lets see where we HAVE to give ?
If you can't show us drop it, your wrong !
