[/FONT]#7 Vols were wanting to win the game by default, thought the Razorbacks would be in the deer woods .

#2 - the Vols wanted to give people the opportunity to post lame "ten excuses" lists

    # 1 - Vols were busy writing their "Top Ten Excuses Arkansas is not in the BCS title game" list :)

    Joking :)

Hey Joe... Look back at the posts and show where I said Arkansas couldn't beat UT.

Then ask yourself one question based on what I consistently said:

Do you believe that was UT's "A" game?

Do you really in your heart of hearts believe that was the best they've performed all year?

Arkansas played a great game and that's why they won. I have watched them play this year and they haven't played any better.

Have all the fun you want. I never lost enough football games while playing to become very good at sportsmanship- just not my strong suit... so just be sure you can take as well as you give.

BTW, did anyone start a top 10 whine list after SC spanked Arkansas? I think I even commented on how classless it was that Carroll ran the score up... almost as classless as Arkansas fans were at the end of the game Saturday night.

I guess we can chalk that up to being on the unfamiliar end of the score when playing UT, huh?

Surely, you know I was jesting on this. If I've not been humble in our getting spanked, I don't know what else to do...I've rent my garments and done sackcloth and ashes til I'm plumb out of ashes

I think we'd do well to remember that there is a difference between stating the perceived reasons why a team won/lost, and making excuses for a win/loss. And we'd do well to remember that either way, the final score is the final score.

Steve Spurrier has been making excuses and whining (big surprise) about biased officiating for his team's losses, but if a receiver doesn't drop the ball against Auburn and a kicker has only two kicks blocked instead of three, they're 2 wins better right now.

I'm focused on Vandy, and the ARK fans should be focused on Croom's boys. Alabama wasn't, and look what happened to them.

It's all fun. I doubt either one of us had any impact on the outcome of that game... or will have any on any future game.

The fact that Arkansas fans have to take this kind of attitude suggests that in those deep recesses of their minds... they aren't so sure that I wasn't right. Any honest person will affirm that UT's offense has been less than a shadow of itself over the past two weeks.

If it has nothing to do with their starting QB going down... who was an SEC leader and on several national award watch lists... then it was certainly a remarkable coicidence.

Arkansas won against the best team UT could field on Saturday. Everyone will have to be satisfied with their own mind as to whether that was the best team UT has fielded all year or not.

"What ifs" only count if you're asking "What if" McFadden had been 100% against SC, right?

Yes. In the closing minutes of the game a fan chant loud enough to be heard on tv... "Fulmer s--ks! Fulmer s--ks!" Very classy way to celebrate a great win wouldn't you say?

Great bulletin board material for next year though... and probably all spring and summer too.

Boorish behavior is nothing new. UT AD Mike Hamilton had to admonish the UT student section for a profane chant during the Bama game, though the chant was in response to Bama's chanting at an injured UT player (Coker, I think, on the kickoff return).

I'm not justifying what the ARK folks did, btw.

I am sorry that it happened. As a Razorback fan I offer my apology for such boorish behavior.
