    Bro James...

    Where is Carroll's library?

Is this a library he used or a library of his personal books and papers?

I love libraries and would really like to know.

Perhaps you can post some of the following:

    • Library name
    • Address
    • Tel number
    • website
    • e-mail

    Carroll's Library

It is my understanding that J.M. Carroll's personal library was donated to the Baptist Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. I have not verified this. Let us check it out.

    Bro. James...

Is this the Carroll Library you are referring to in your next-to-last post in this thread? Or is there another Carroll Library?

    OPPS!

You will have to do the search yourself, as the webpage of the Online Catalog search results timed out.

Just begin at the next-to-last webpage in my previous post, and type in the search string "J. M. Carroll" [without quotation marks].

From my brief search, there appears to be collection (papers) of J. M. Carroll at this library. Probably in the Special Collections department.

There maybe a B.H. Carroll associated with SWBS. It is probably important to keep them separated.

Let us see if we can do some surfing in a real library at SWBS. Contact the librarian and see what they have digitized or see what it takes to make a personal visit.

Perhaps somebody lives in Fort Worth who cares to study the papers of J. M. Carroll at the SWBTS Library.

[Someone who can present some observations in an objective manner!]

On this end, I plan to check with some of the Kentucky Churches that distribute printed copies of the Trail of Blood, to learn what I can learn.

    Bro. James and others...

    Read my recent posts again.

It appears there is a Carroll Library at Baylor University, the institution where B.H. Carroll served as first president.

On the other hand, it appears there is a collection of papers described as belonging to J. M. Carroll at SWBTS Library at Fort Worth.

    Am I correct in this?

    Please advise.
