I am still confused about the relevance of the whole issue. My understand is that the person in question serves at the pleasure of the governor, and thus there is no reason needed to fire him or her. So it appears that Palin is being investigated for something she was entitled to do.

 

Let's see the proof of your allegations. Certainly anyone who has been a marine wouldn't spread falsehoods.

 

You should really back up a few steps, and re-examine what you wrote.

(BTW: remember, the individual in question never finished any Marine bootcamp, and was never actually a Marine. I'd have to see his discharge papers before I believed he actually earned the title of "Marine.")

Here's a fact for you: If the PLC course is to prep future Marine Corps officers, and you can only claim to have been a private, well, guess what? You didn't pass the course.

Think I need to sic some of my Marine Corps brethren on this guy, see if they can figure out why he claims a place among the few and the proud.

 

The charge is a misuse of her power as Governor. Do you believe that a governor or VP can fire people because they divorced your sister? There isn't any place in government for this kind of action for purely personal reasons.

Very good post, the facts are McCain sent teams of lawyers to Alaska to check into this situation. The lawyers are claiming bias because of the democrat leader and told the employee's of Alaska not to participate.

Palin would benefit by looking like the reform attack dog they told us she is if she wins this case. McCain's campaign has much to gains if they can win this case. But they choose to bottle neck it in litigation?

If they thought they could win they would have the hearing broadcast over the TV with every media outlet in the country trying the case along with the board and even if that democratic board finds her guilty she will be innocent in the public eye and she will get more votes. They choose not to do this?

Why don't we hear more about the Governor using a Yahoo account to conduct official business? Talk about bad judgment, I think that ranks at the top of the bad judgment and "what you doing" charts.

Troopergate is secondary these days

It is all on John McCain now, Sarah Palin may want to worry about this if she has
aspirations for 2012 and it seems she has support on this board for such a run.

Perhaps people are defending this Troopergate precisely for that reason.

Are they seeing the writing on the wall.

I think the Polls(and conservative commentary) show that most people think John McCain showed bad judgement in picking her, but Sarah Palins fan base really like her, problem is they are not most people.

so again we are back to John McCain and this being all on him, Sarah at the rallies seems to get them into a mob mentality to the point of making negative press, which in turn makes them more mob like(they hate the press).
