Since the Baptist Board has changed servers, the only browser I am able to use to get on the board is my AOL. I can log on with IE, but I get an error message. Anybody else having problems like this?

This happened to me this morning...
So I deleted all my cookies, then rebooted... and voila! it worked.

I ran my Window Washer and rebooted my PC and still can't get on with IE---really strange because I can get on with my AOL. I'll try again tomorrow, it's getting late.

I just tried running my Window Washer once again--and rebooted and I"M IN!!

Maybe it is your ISP. Maybe AOL updated before your ISP has.

I am presently using my Firefox web browser. I was able to get on using IE after running the Window Washer the second time and rebooting my PC. However, my husband (standingfirminChrist) is unable to get on except using AOL. We are on the same exact network and he can't get on using Firefox or IE--he keeps getting the error message. He has run his Window Washer 6 times and has rebooted the same amount of times---he has also uninstalled and re-installed Firefox, and still no luck--can't figure this thing out.

After 6 washes and reboots, I finally can get in on my Firefox and my IE7.

    Praise the Lord!

To me this all sounds like you are speaking in tongues!

But I can say that BB is working fine with Safari

Tried Safari too with no luck.

And also Opera. Kept getting the same error message about the BB changing servers recently and to reboot and try again...

It's just DNS propagation. It takes a while for the changes to make their way through the various name servers. It's likely that AOL uses different nameservers than IE is set to use. Just wait a bit longer, and it should work fine on the rest of your browsers.

If you don't want to wait, you could change your nameservers or just use a proxy.

    http://proxy.minihost.org
    user: proxy
    password: minihost

Uncheck "Show referring website in HTTP headers" and you should be able to login and post.

Couldn't help but chuckle when I read the reference to Naaman, Don. Does that mean I need to wash this pc once more before the thing is truly clean?:wavey:

Funny how computers remind us so much of poor sinners, eh?....
