    Beat the heat — eat less meat.

    That's the message being sent by the head of the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, which won last year's Nobel Peace Prize along with Al Gore.

    "Give up meat for one day [a week] initially, and decrease it from there," Dr. Rajendra Pachauri told Britain's Observer newspaper in comments published Sunday.

    That makes no sense. If you cut out meat globally then you'll still need to cut down more trees, for growing food. So whether for animals or for vegetables, it's still the same, cut down trees. I can see not much thought has gone into that.
    That picture in the article and it's subtitle say it all.

    The less demand the fewer cows. The more demand the more cows. Chapter 1, Paragraph 2, Economics 101.

    Oh I see. So libs want cows to go extinct in order to save the planet? Is deer flatualtion as dangerous or is cow flatualtion more potent? Because the deer population is exploding.

    Seems I've seen this logic before: Ah Yes, now I remember------

    "A very logical reason NOT to study"!

    The more you study, the more you know;
    The more you know, the more you forget;
    The more you forget, the less you know;
    The less you know, the less you forget;
    The less you forget, the more you know;

    SO!! The logical conclusion is that it's futile to study!!:BangHead:

    (Liberals is so logical) :thumbs::thumbs:

    If saving the planet is moe important than saving the people, there should be a day of absolute mass human suicide.

    Ok..... Whatever...

    Argentina would never go for this. To tell an argentine he has to eat less meat is worse than telling him his wife left him.

    I suppose then that Argentina is the biggest culprit in climate change since they eat the highest ammount of meat per capita each year.

    So Rajendra Pachauri of India wants everyone else to not eat meat one day a week to cut down on greenhouse gases...

    While 40,000 cows roam the streets of Delhi alone. I can't even begin to calculate how many cows roam the country of India.

    Perhaps Mr. Pachauri could start with making some sacrifices at home before asking everyone else to.

    Thanks to the fodder from the left... I have a few things to write on my blog...
    Here is my latest entry.... I thought I would share it here...

    Seriously folks... the liberal Global whining side has lost their minds!!!

    Click here to read the story from Fox

    "A U.N. study in 2006 found that 18 percent of greenhouse-gas emissions came from the livestock industry, chiefly in the form of methane burped up and otherwise emitted by cattle, sheep and pigs."

    "Pachauri reasons that because raising, feeding, slaughtering and shipping livestock produces much more greenhouse gas than does growing plants, a decrease in the number of livestock worldwide would do a lot to offset the threat of global warming.

    "In terms of immediacy of action and the feasibility of bringing about reductions in a short period of time, it clearly is the most attractive opportunity," he told the Observer."

    Gas from livestock produce 18% of greenhouse emissions?

    WOW... didn't know that!
    Phew! Gotta get those cows some Pepto Bismol!

    I wonder how much "greenhouse gas" I have produced in my lifetime... I hope the UN doesn't try to get rid of humans because we pass gas!

    I think I just figured out what "UN" stands for... All along, I was taught that "UN" stood for United Nations... nope... it stands for "United Nincompoops"

    What idiots actually believe that if we get rid of our livestock, it will save the planet?...

    And the sad thing is, many Christians will still go around crying "Global Warming" and believe their junk!

    Listen people.. Do you believe God?
    God said in Genesis 8:22
    " While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."

    Did you catch that?
    God is in control. He has his hand on the thermostat of our world... and it will not heat up until he says so....

    Don't blame cow f-rts for killing polar bears!

    The Global Whining advocates remind me of those in this verse....
    Romans 1:25
    (25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

    The environmentalists are on the edge of idol worship.

    And they had better pay attention, and repent of self pride, and acknowledge God the creator...

    Because one day, God will turn up the heat on the world....

    Global Warming is coming... not because of gas emissions from cows... but because God has had enough with sinners...

    2 Peter 3:10-13
    (10) But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
    (11) [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness,
    (12) Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
    (13) Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

    Yep, one day God is going to say, Enough's enough.. and will cause the true "Global Warming"...

    Are you ready to meet God face to face?

    Don't worry about cows, worry about God.

    I think I will go out and eat a steak...
    That would be one less cow to cause our planet's demise...

    Stop Global Warming... Eat a Steak....

    How about Pigs? I am sure they are pretty gassy as well. Holy cow we are going to have to kill off a number of species! :eek: Its all animal flatualtion! Maybe we should invest our taxes in Beano for all farm animals. We could start a new Federal government office called "Office of Flatualtion". Then we can put in place the "Secretary of Flatulation".

    Then we could pass law against public flatulation. This would apply to public government buildings and restaraunts. Punishable by 250,000.00 dollars and or up to 3 years in jail. :BangHead:

    I think I will apply for a grant to study the problems of animal gas.

    Imagine if we can stop animal gas in our lifetime!
    What a noble idea...

    OR>>>

    Maybe we could inflate our tires with animal gas, and save some fuel...

    OR...

    Maybe we can find a way to harnass Animal gas and use it for fuel!

    We have the resources to break our dependence on oil right in our own pastures!

    OH, the possibilities....

    Now how can I get taxpayers to foot the bill?

    People are an emitter of methane too, or at lest the person I'm married too is. Should we decrease the human population to save the planet? Because the population of humans is going to be next on the list. People like this place more value on mother earth then human beings, if human being are contributing, then they need to go too. Save the mother no matter the cost to human life.
    Just don't kill the cows, they could be your aunt or uncle, or prehaps a parent.
