UN chief thinks Iran might be pretending to negotiate, secretly building a bomb

    United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said Thursday that Iran might only be engaging in U.N. talks as a distraction while the country secretly develops a nuclear bomb.

    “We should not give much more time to the Iranians, and we should not waste time,” Ban told The Washington Post in an interview. “We have seen what happened with the DPRK [North Korea].”

    Ban told The Post that North Korea should serve as a warning of the risk Iran poses.
