. . . I can forgive original insults much quicker than those mundane and oft repeated insults that I so often see on the board.

You once accused me of praying for the destruction of Israel, and have yet to apologize. Granted, it was a while ago, but for months after you were on my ignore list.

Don't know why your putting a pity party on for yourself.

Good for you. Forgiveness is a wonderful thing. Why is this a political topic?

Chill out, brother, you've had a bad day on the BB. I 've have them too.

I, for one, can testify that people have often misunderstood you. I have misunderstood you on many occasions. Perhaps that's the case.

Remember when myself and a few others battled it out with you over whether or not remaining single was a sin? The conversations got pretty hot, remember?

Remember, we thought that you were saying that single people were sinning just for not being married and then we found out that you were single yourself and you were talking about single people committing fornication without any repentance that was the sin?

Remember how flabbergasted we were that we had misunderstood you?

Anyway.....if we all got upset at being insulted on the BB, then no one would come here at all.

I am sorry that you feel insulted, but forgiving people insults to you is important.....be they original insults or mundane and oft repeated.

Just chill out for a little while.

Insults are usually borne out of either frustration and anger (the person needs to cool off first before posting), or because the person has no reasonable answer regarding the subject being discussed and so goes 'ad hominem', meaning 'to the man' -- attacking the person instead of the dealing with the subject in a calm, intelligent, and mature way.

Some people do seem to resort to insults, veiled or direct, almost as a mode of operation. I think we know who they are after awhile and most of us just ignore their posts.

Hey, LadyEagle -- you're getting PAID for this? When did the moderators get a raise from the nothing we got when I was moderating? Whoa but you must have that new webmaster fooled....LOL:laugh:

He never insulted me, but he did accuse my son of being a muslim...and has yet to apologize.

I am also unsure as to why he is having a pity party.
