Urgent Warning About Spirit Worship

The "holy laughter" movement in 1994 had broken across the denomenational barriers as it was no longer a streamlined Pentecostal/Charismatic phenomenon since it was happening in Catholic and Protestant churches.

A brother from another forum had testified to honoring and worshiping the Holy Spirit on the calendar day of Pentecost where he felt what he believed was the Holy Spirit seeping into his skull like liquid nitrogen, causing him to confess an apology against his will to the Holy Spirit ( that is to say he was assuming that it was the Holy Spirit ) for not believing that He did dramatic manifestations any more as "He" did back in the early church days.

In all of these movements of the "Spirit", the Holy Spirit becomes the focus in worship where they invoke the Person of the Holy Spirit to come and fall on saved believer again after a sign. Granted, they address the Holy Spirit in worship and pray that He would come and fall on them, receiving a sensational sign in the flesh like loss of self control or tongues that comes with no interpretation.

I had been to a Methodist church that ask for the Holy Spirit to be sent to the place of worship, thinking that the Holy Spirit has to be in the place to minister to the lost, Even my former Presbyterian church had prayed a prayer like that about sending the Holy Spirit into the worship place.

Is it any wonder why so many denomenations fell prey to the "holy laughter movement" in 1994 when spirits took advantage of this spotlight on the Spirit to cause many to go astray and chase after them?

Hymnals can often be found as addressing the Person of the Holy Spirit in worship, and a few hymnals have believers asking the Holy Spirit Himself to come and fall on them too.

So why is it that when believers prayed to the Holy Spirit or honor the Holy Spirit in worship, sometimes the devil answers with signs and wonders, but essentially confusion which God is not the author of? 1 Corinthians 14:32-33 Proverbs 25:26 Proverbs 25:28

Is it because only the Son can answers prayers so that the Father may be glorified in the Son for answered prayers? John 14:13-14

Is there a danger to going around the Son by praying to the Holy Spirit as if He can answer prayers too? John 10:1-9 Seems like the danger is following a stranger's voice like getting tongues without interpretation. Isaiah 8:19

Is there a danger of judgment for stepping outside the will of the Father in how we are to honor the Father in worship and that is by the only way of the Son? John 5:22-23

Is not the role of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Son ( John 16:13-14 ) and lead us to do the same in worship as a testimony? ( John 15:26-27 )

In order for our individual worship of the Son to be true, is this why the Holy Spirit's witness coupled with our own is required? John 8:17

So then when a believer steps outside the will of the Father to worship and to honor the Holy Spirit when the Holy Spirit is not leading them to do that, they are not honoring the Father at all until they only honor the Father by honoring the Son? John 5:22-23

Is this why God is permitting these houses to fall for these movements of the "Spirit" because they had broadened the way in the worship place to include the Holy Spirit with the Father and the Son ( Matthew 7:13-14 ) that allows seducing spirits to break in and cause their houses to fall ( Matthew 7:24-27 )? Is not the holy laughter movement evidence of this broadening the way where it gathers grapes of thorns and figs of thistles, thus being ecumenical in nature as that fruit of that false prophet ( Matthew 7:15-16 )

So if the tree... worshiping the Holy Spirit with the Father and the Son is producing evil fruits ( Matthew 7:17-20 ), should we discern if we need to narrow the way back to the straight gate in worship ( Luke 13:24 ) since the real indwelling Holy Spirit would keep the spotlight on the Son to glorify the Son in worship and by Him, God the Father whereas seducing spirits would not, but share in that spotlight and even take it away from the Son entirely to mislead many into chasing after them as if they can receive the Holy Spirit "again" for a sign? 2 Corinthians 11:1-4 & 2 Corinthians 13:5 & 1 Timothy 4:1-2

Is the Holy Spirit God? Yes. But what is the will of the Father in how He wants us to come to Him in worship? John 14:6 I believe the Holy Spirit is leading believers to keep coming to God the Father in worship by honoring the Son in order to honor the Father ( John 5:23 ) because the role of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Son ( John 16:14 ) in testimony and thereby leading us to do the same because He is to glorify the Son through us in worship. ( John 15:26-27 & John 13:31-32 & Philippians 2:5-13 & Philippians 1:6-11 & Jude 1:24-25 )

By His grace and by His help, I am sharing my concerns and observations and His discernments when it comes to worshiping the Holy Spirit with the Father & the Son. I believe the Holy Spirit is God, but because of other spirits in the world, and God wishes to call sinners away from their worship of other spirits like the American Indians that dance and chant for the "Great Spirit" to come with signs like being drunk in the spirit, this is why God the Father has provided only one way to come to Him in worship and Jesus said John 14:6 to guard us against seducing spirits that would broaden the way to mislead many into chasing after them for a sign as an adulterous generation ( Matthew 12:39 ) and thus fall away from the faith and can even cause them to fall literally by being workers of iniquity; Matthew 7:21-27

Believers that have gone astray, need to return to their first love and with His help, chase no more after seducing spirits to receive after a sign, shun vain & profane babblings by praying normally so you can know what you had prayed for to give the Father thanks in Jesus's name for answered prayers, and read the written word in the KJV for edification.

May God be peradventuring to recover those in the marketplace seeking to be filled with the "Spirit" "again" when they are filled so they can be ready to go with their lamps shining before the Bridegroom comes.
