I said when I had a heart attack and underwent a heart bypass they, the company started to move me out but they couldn’t right away... I have many friends that would have objected. I simply started taking calls from their competition. What goes around comes around.

I was thinking, just maybe, we could have an intelligent discussion. (FYI, I do not belong to any political party.)

 

IMO, there are many nuances to hypocrisy. The one I see most on Baptist Board is this: Condemning in others that which is condoned for oneself.
(I've not read this entire thread so cannot say whether that nuance of hypocrisy is contained in it, though I'd be surprised at any 70+-post thread in either current events or politics that had none.)

It won't spare the nation, but the Lord will take care of the righteous. God was going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. He knew it already. He wanted Abraham to know the why.

Note that when Abraham got down to 'ten's sake', the Lord left. (Gen. 18:35) Why? Because He didn't want Abraham to go farther down in the count. In other words, there were not ten righteous people in Sodom and Gomorrah.
