I've had a few articles published many years ago. Unfortunately, it didn't pay my bills though. The money I got barely covered the postage on submissions & rejections.

But it WAS the biggest thrill to see my creation, my words in national publications!

Am always glad to see a fellow writer making an income on the written word! It's a tough market to break into and tough to make a steady living from. Maybe one day, when I retire....(sigh) Do you ever get "writer's block?"

BTW, do you think the pet magazine would be interested in my poem I pasted for Murph?
